Our organization thrives with the support and involvement of its members, active and retired professionals in the field of special education, who seek to increase and improve the educational offerings available to exceptional children and engage in professional development opportunities. Specific membership information, including eligibility requirements and an application, are available under "About Us."

LEGISLATIVE ALERT!!!!

ConnCASE’s Past President and Executive Director testified at a public hearing this past Monday, which extended late into the evening at the Legislative Office Building. During the hearing, they addressed two comprehensive Special Education bills that propose significant and transformative changes to the current model—a model many believe requires considerable attention. The Select Committee on Special Education received testimony on House Bill 7277 and Senate Bill 1561. You can view the testimony of Kathie Gabrielson and Yvette Goorevitch in the attached link below along with Yvette’s written testimony.
