Membership Information
Membership in ConnCASE is available to educators in the state of Connecticut under the following membership categories: Active, Associate, and Retired.
Active Membership
Active Membership is open to all Special Education Directors, Assistant Directors, Principals, Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents and Supervisors. Active membership entitles the member to attend all regional meetings, to vote on all questions presented to the membership, to hold office, and to serve as a committee chair.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership is open to professionals in other areas of special education and in related services and who is not eligible for active membership and who exercises administrative responsibilities for special education/services. Associate Membership entitles the member to attend all regional meetings.
Retired Membership
Retired Membership is available to a person who has retired from his/her full-time professional responsibilities. Retired members are entitled to all privileges of active membership except that of holding office unless the person has been elected prior to the changing of status from active to retired. Such individuals who continue to assume special education administrative/supervisory duties are NOT eligible for Retired Membership.
